Hepavetz is indicated for animals exhibiting hepatic disorders, gastrointestinal hypofunction & low secretory activity. Cattle, Sheep: Pregnancy toxemia, alimentary toxicosis, rumen impaction, dyspepsia with meteorism, ketosis (acetonemia), as an adjuvant during the treatment of liver fluke disease or during convalescence. Horses: Liver disorders due to unbalanced feeding, liver failure due to piroplasmosis & leptospirosis. Dogs: Icterus, liver failure, as an adjuvant during the treatment of leptospirosis & distemper.
For all species in general the suggested dose is 10 mg/kg of body weight. Cattle, Horse: 30-50ml to 300/500 kg body weight Sheep, Goat & Dog: 5ml to 50 kg body weight Duration: Doses may be repeated every 24 hours, at the discretion of the Veterinary doctor. Inject by the deep intramuscular route, by the intra peritoneal route or by the slow intravenous route.
